"Universitas Udayana (Unud) is a state university established on August 17, 1962, based on the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education and Science Number 104 of 1962 dated August 9, 1962, which was confirmed by a Decree of President Number 18 the year 1963 dated 13 January 1963. Located in Bali as a beautiful small island with well-known indigenous cultural characteristics and world-class tourist destinations, Unud is expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of indigenous culture. The university has a strong position as one of the leading universities, particularly in the Eastern region of Indonesia.
