It is my great pleasure to invite your esteemed university to participate in our 2023 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. Since 2010, UI GreenMetric World University Rankings has ranked universities worldwide according to six indicators: setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water, and transportation, and education. 1183 universities from 84 countries were ranked in UI GreenMetric 2023 Ranking.
As a member of IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, UI GreenMetric is the first ranking in the World that has established a Voluntary Standard for improving university infrastructure and action towards sustainable universities worldwide. By participating in the ranking, your university will automatically be a member of our global network. So far, we have 58 active national coordinators from 33 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Oceania. Moreover, by participating, you will be able to assess your sustainability policy and performance and compare them with other institutions in the ranking. You can also share your experience and learn best practices on the issues of sustainability with other universities in our network. Most importantly, this ranking can serve as a platform for future cooperation among higher education institutions to make our world a better place. Participating in UI GreenMetric is simple and free as the submission is done on line. There is no fee for participating.
