The University of Sharjah (UoS) was established in 1997 as a not-for-profit comprehensive academic institution with a distinctive and innovative learning style and a global vision. The University of Sharjah, is a leading institution for higher learning and a vibrant center for study and advanced research. Located within the rich and diversified cultural environment of the Emirate of Sharjah. The University is endowed with a scenic and inspiring campus, world-class state of the art learning and research facilities, multimedia study halls, dedicated libraries rich with information resources, state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and computing labs, theatres, clubs, separate student residential areas and faculty housing, two major sports complexes, student centers with access to restaurants and variety of shops, and many other facilities and staff members renowned for their dedication to teaching, research, and their total commitment to serving students at all levels.
