Jakarta Veteran National Development University, hereinafter referred to as UPN Veteran Jakarta, is a state university within the Ministry of Education and Culture which is domiciled in South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Province and has campuses in Depok City and Bogor Regency, West Java Province. The basic principle of UPN Veteran Jakarta itself is the development of science and technology based on universal and objective values in achieving scientific truth; implementation of the tridharma of higher education based on faith, freedom and academic responsibility as well as the Sesanti Widya Mwat Yasa; and improving the good governance of UPN Veteran Jakarta, characterized by implementing independent, modern and sustainable management. UPN Veteran Jakarta is a university that has the characteristics of National Defense. UPNVJ is located in the capital city of Jakarta, highly competent faculties, research and community service activities which are increasingly felt by its stakeholders, complete libraries, infrastructure and laboratories, adequate information technology development, alumni with good job positions in several Ministries, private companies and entrepreneurs. These potentials are meaningless if they are not based on a strong vision, mission and academic goals and objectives. For this reason, we strive to always be committed to realizing UPNVJ as a highly competitive State University with the identity of National Defense. In the future, we hope that UPNVJ, which is entering its 4th year of education, can continue to improve the quality of learning by being determined to become a PTN that is on par with other PTNs that previously became superior PTNs.
