Universitas Tanjungpura

Located in urban area in Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat, Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN) was founded in 1959. UNTAN's vision is to become a preservation institution and scientific information center in Kalimantan Barat, as well as to produce graduates who adopt Pancasila principles, foundational philosophical theory of Indonesia, and are able to compete at national, regional and international levels. The university has nine faculties, i.e. Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics & Business, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Faculty of Medicine. The university has accredited Grade “A” by the National Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). It offers bachelor and postgraduate programs.
